JEWELLERY CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Meileah Jewellery is crafted from precious metals that require gentle care to maintain their brilliance and keep your pieces looking bright and new.
Gold Vermeil
All our gold vermeil pieces are made with 2.5 microns of 18k gold on recycled .925 sterling silver.
Do not apply cosmetics such as lotion and perfume while wearing your gold vermeil pieces, avoid contact with chemicals and cleaning products as these can dull the appearance of your gemstones and the surface of the gold vermeil/silver.
Remove jewellery prior to showering, bathing and swimming to maintain the original radiance of the gold vermeil.
Store your jewellery pieces in a cool, dry place or jewellery box, as humidity and heat may cause your jewellery to tarnish over time.
For best results, clean your silver jewels with a microfibre or 100% cotton cloth, do not use silver cloth or chemical cleaners on your gold vermeil pieces as this may abrade the gold layer.
Recycled Sterling Silver
All our silver pieces are made using .925 sterling silver and coated with a protective layer to keep the silver looking bright.
Do not apply cosmetics such as lotion and perfume while wearing your sterling silver pieces, avoid contact with chemicals and cleaning products, remove jewellery prior to showering, bathing and swimming as these can dull the appearance of your gemstones and the original shine of the silver finish.
Store your jewellery pieces in a cool, dry place or jewellery box, as humidity and heat may cause your jewellery to tarnish over time.
